Alan B. Dyess, Contractor, Builder, Remodeler, Realtor   Alan began working in the Construction world in 1969 along side his Dad, Jerald Booth Dyess.  That work continued with him beginning his first business in 1976 as a Home Builder. In 1978 he joined the Carpenter Shop at Texas Tech University where he became the youngest Foreman on staff, managing a team of over 20 laborers and skilled craftsmen.  He remained at Texas Tech for 14 years.   In 1997 Alan received his Real Estate License and has worked for Century 21 as well as Morris Properties over the Years. In 2006 he began ABD Construction, Inc, and has continued a life long journey in remodeling and construction. Alan has been actively involved in the past in Boys Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity and Tent City in Lubbock.   Alan and his wife, Wanda have raised two children in Lubbock, who attended and graduated from Lubbock Christian Schools and Lubbock Christian University.  He has served as an Elder and Deacon at South Plains Church of Christ for many years.
